Charles W. Herbster
More than anything, Charlie Kirk was a devoted husband and father. His deepest commitments were to his family and to the country he loved. He believed in America’s promise, and he worked tirelessly to inspire others to engage in civic life with both conviction and respect.
Charlie opened his rallies and conversations to all who wished to participate, regardless of differing opinions. He modeled the belief that freedom is strongest when ideas can be shared openly and debated honorably.
To me, Charlie was not only a colleague, but also a true friend. His presence, his energy, and his unwavering love for his family and his country will be deeply missed.
Today, I am lifting up his wife, his family, and his many friends in prayer. I am also praying for America—that we may continue the work of building a nation worthy of the passion and dedication Charlie gave every day of his life.
