I voted yes on the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act.
H.R. 6703 takes a practical approach to expanding affordable health care options, lowering premiums, and saving taxpayers $36 billion by addressing the root causes of skyrocketing prices.
Specifically, it:
✅Reduces ACA Marketplace premiums by 11 percent through support of Cost Sharing Reductions (CSRs)
✅Expands Association Health Plans (AHPs) to let self-employed individuals and small businesses pair up to lower premiums by as much as 30 percen
✅Encourages employers to offer healthcare benefits by strengthening CHOICE Arrangements
✅Lowers the cost of prescription drugs by requiring Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) transparency
