Practices like conversion therapy have been widely rejected and criticized by the medical community for the harm they can cause to young people.

Recently, the Supreme Court ruled on a constitutional question, but that does not change the reality—children must be protected from harmful medical procedures for political purposes that put their physical and mental health at risk.

We can uphold the First Amendment and still draw a clear line: kids deserve care, not coercion.
