Capping off 2016 with the surprise release of his new mixtape, Forme+You, and performing its lead single ‘Lady’ alongside Pitbull on Fox’s Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution, singer Austin Mahone continues the excitement into 2017 with new music for his Mahomies. Forme+You finds the 21-year-old exploring a mature new direction with collaborations from Pitbull, Juicy J and 2 Chainz and is already breaking records for the young singer. The Pitbull-assisted lead single ‘Lady’ made its worldwide debut on New Year’s Eve and since then has already become Austin’s most streamed track on Spotify.
No stranger to surprising his fans with new music, Austin notably closed out 2015 with a fan-demanded mixtape of 19 all-new songs, aptly entitled This Is Not the Album. The mixtape release followed the singer’s single ‘Dirty Work’ which was praised by press worldwide, with billboard declaring it the singer’s, ‘best and most ambitious single to date’. The powerhouse’s 2013 debut EP, The Secret, landed him a top 5 chart position on the Billboard 200 and his 2014 single ‘Mmm Yeah’ featuring Pitbull soared to #2 on the iTunes chart and broke the top 20 on the pop songs chart. The performer has headlined his own sold-out tours, including MTV’s Artist to Watch tour and a nationwide summer tour, following his debut on the road as an opener on Taylor Swift’s Red tour in the summer of 2013. The singer boasts a number of awards and honors, including an MTV Video Music Award for best new artist and their “artist to watch” in 2013, in addition to wins at the MTV EMAs, iHeartRadio Music Awards, Radio Disney Music Awards, Teen Choice Awards and the Young Hollywood Awards.
