Once again, @POTUS has made a fantastic decision in choosing @SenMullin to be the next secretary of @DHSgov. I’ve had the privilege of serving with Markwayne in the Senate for the past three years. He is committed to advancing President Trump’s agenda, and he has my full confidence that he will continue building on the progress this administration has made to secure the Southern border and keep America safe. I look forward to voting in favor of his confirmation in short order.
I thank Secretary Noem for the incredible work she did to secure the Southern border. She will serve the United States well as Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, where she will continue doing a great job for the American people.
