Such an exciting day in Rock Valley unveiling a new modular school for 150 Rock Valley Community School students. We partnered with HEGG on the six-classroom building that includes bathrooms and drinking fountains, offices, a common area, and WiFi and smartboards. The hard-working team at HEGG put it together in under seven weeks! I’m so proud of their dedication to getting lowa schoolchildren back to the classroom.
I also want to thank our private partners The Wellmark Foundation, Kemin, Corteva, and Chevron REG for donating much-needed school supplies and learning equipment lost in the disastrous floods.
Without the help of builders, donors, the schools, and local agencies, none of this would be possible. I can’t wait to see Rock Valley students return to school next week!
