I’ve been fighting against dangerous soft-on-crime policies my entire career.
Back in 2004, when I served as Chairman of the Florida Senate Committee on Criminal Justice, a bill came up that would have let juveniles convicted of serious crimes out early, putting our communities at risk.
I forced a vote to put everyone on the record, because I believe voters deserved to know exactly where their lawmakers stood.
We killed the bill, because Florida puts law-abiding citizens first, NOT criminals!
I’m proud to still be fighting for our communities and law enforcement officers, and AGAINST soft-on-crime policies across the country.
