    Now more than ever, we need a Department of Homeland Security that is open, fully staffed, and equipped to carry out its mission.
    For more than two weeks while this agency has been shut down due to partisan politics, employees at TSA, FEMA, the Coast Guard, and Secret Service reported to work with no guarantee of a paycheck.
    Today, I voted once again to reopen DHS and get them the resources they need to protect our homeland.
