President Trump used the White House’s annual Thanksgiving turkey-pardon ceremony to “re-pardon” last year’s turkeys—claiming their prior pardons were invalid because they were signed with an autopen—and after ceremonially sparing this year’s birds (named Gobble and Waddle), joked he almost called them “Chuck and Nancy”.
