President Trump celebrated a historic America First immigration victory as the United States recorded net negative migration across every metropolitan area for the first time in at least 50 years, with illegal border crossings dropping to their lowest levels since the 1970s. He issued a presidential memorandum directing the Department of Homeland Security to provide back pay and benefits to thousands of frontline TSA officers impacted by the ongoing shutdown, calling it an emergency situation compromising national security.
